We are delighted that Green City Solutions has once again been recognized as one of Germany\u2019s most innovative companies in 2025. In its sixth year, we once again received outstanding ratings in the Energy & Environment<\/em> category for companies with up to 250 employees<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This recognition, presented as part of an exclusive study by Capital<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and Statista<\/em><\/strong> , underscores our role in developing sustainable technologies for cleaner air and more livable cities.<\/p>\n

For the sixth time, Capital<\/em> and Statista<\/em> have honored Germany\u2019s most innovative companies. Here is an excerpt from the list of awarded firms:<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>

Sustainable Solutions for Today\u2019s Challenges<\/strong><\/h5>\n

We are proud to once again be recognized as one of \u201cGermany\u2019s Most Innovative Companies\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in the \u201cEnergy & Environment\u201d<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n

Our moss-based innovations<\/strong><\/em><\/a> actively contribute to reducing pollution and improving air quality in urban areas. With our regenerative air filters and Smart City solutions, we not only create greener cities but also enhance the quality of life for everyone. This award validates our approach of combining technological innovation with ecological responsibility.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Innovation in Energy & Environment<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The award is based on the assessment of more than 2,900 industry experts who evaluated companies on their innovative strength in terms of products, processes, and corporate culture<\/a>. Green City Solutions once again impressed the panel. Our mission to make cities greener and healthier through innovative solutions, such as our bio-intelligent air filters, remains a core driver of our work.<\/p>\n

We are particularly grateful not only for being recognized but also for receiving top ratings of five stars in the categories of “Innovation Area” and “Recommendation Reasons”.<\/strong><\/a> Additionally, we were highly rated for the relevance of our patents, receiving the maximum score for “particularly relevant patents”<\/strong><\/a>. We are pleased to share this recognition with other outstanding companies in the category of up to 250 employees, including Allg\u00e4uer \u00dcberlandwerk, Energy2market, Enerk\u00edte, Fraunhofer CSP, Hydrogenious LOHC, Kraftblock and Polarstern.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Sustainability and Innovation at the Core of the Strategy<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“In current debates about Germany as a business location, there is often the impression that hardly any innovations are being developed here”, yet the exclusive study by Capital<\/em> and Statista<\/em> presents a more optimistic view: 515 companies were included in this year\u2019s list of \u201cGermany\u2019s Most Innovative Companies\u201d \u2013 50 more than the previous year<\/a>. Among them, 163 candidates received the highest rating of five stars<\/a>. “The selection process spans 20 industries and sectors, from the automotive industry and the chemical sector to energy and environmental fields”, with 2,952 innovation experts selecting the most innovative companies from a total of 2,305 candidates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At a time when regulatory frameworks and economic uncertainties challenge many companies\u2019 ability to innovate, the selected companies demonstrate that sustainable innovations are not only possible but also urgently needed.<\/p>\n<\/div>

We thank Capital<\/em> <\/strong>and Statista<\/em> <\/strong>for this recognition and see it as motivation to continue developing innovative and sustainable solutions that make our cities more livable. By the end of 2024, we had over 80 projects across Europe, with a focus on Germany and the UK. With more than 500 installed active moss panels, these projects cool their surroundings by over 250,000 watts, eliminating the need for approximately 125 conventional air conditioning units.<\/p>\n
