Green City Solutions and climAD<\/em><\/strong><\/a> used this special occasion to collaboratively disseminate sustainable messages in innovative ways with partners such as LichtBlick SE<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and KoRo<\/em><\/strong><\/a> . With bio-digital advertising spaces that combine technology and climate responsibility, Earth Day<\/em><\/strong><\/a> 2025<\/em><\/strong> became an impressive example of sustainable communication.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Sustainable Messages on Bio-Digital Advertising Spaces<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Our CityBreeze<\/em><\/strong><\/a> \u2013 a unique combination of a moss wall and a large-format screen \u2013 offered the perfect platform for impactful campaigns in conjunction with climAD<\/em><\/strong><\/a> . These bio-digital advertising spaces combine media visibility with genuine climate responsibility. They demonstrate how Digital Out of Home (DOOH) can be used as a sustainable communication channel to bring climate and environmental issues directly into people’s everyday lives.<\/p>\n

As LichtBlick SE<\/em><\/strong><\/a> announced, “Digital Out of Home (DOOH) is one of the most environmentally friendly advertising media in the marketing mix. On the occasion of Earth Day, we are going one step further together with <\/a>climAD<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.”<\/p>\n

LichtBlick SE: Bag Something for the Climate While Shopping?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The LichtBlick campaign was themed “Bag something for the climate after shopping”<\/a> and impressively demonstrated how DOOH not only creates attention but also actively contributes to improving air quality.<\/p>\n

Marc Wallraff<\/strong><\/a>, CEO of LichtBlick SE<\/strong><\/a>, emphasized in a LinkedIn post:<\/em><\/p>\n

“Digital Out of Home (#DOOH) is one of the most environmentally friendly advertising media \u2013 and there’s even more to it: on the back of the steles where our campaign is currently running, real moss is growing. It not only looks good but also binds CO\u2082 and improves air quality. Great idea from climAD.”<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Nadine Usadel<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, Senior Media & Campaigns Manager at LichtBlick SE<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, also highlighted the special feature of the campaign:<\/p>\n

“[…] on the back of all the steles, there isn’t more advertising as usual. But moss. Real, living moss. Because it binds CO\u2082 and ensures good air\u201c<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The campaign was visible from April 14 to April 22 in shopping environments<\/a> in cities such as Berlin, Braunschweig, and Bremen, especially in shopping centers<\/a>. Nadine Usadel<\/em><\/strong><\/a> further explained:<\/p>\n

“We are picking up on the situation in which people find themselves \u2013 shopping. And giving the matter a sustainable twist. With a wink, without a wagging finger,” “Because our consumer decisions, such as switching to 100% green electricity, have a direct impact on the planet.”<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>

KoRo: There is Only One Earth \u2026<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Another highlight of Earth Day 2025 was the collaboration with KoRo<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. The company brought its message “There is only one Earth with KoRo snacks \u2013 protect it!”<\/a> to the innovative DOOH displays of climAD<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. These displays, equipped with integrated moss filters, actively purify the air and thus contribute not only to the visibility of the message but also to improving air quality.<\/p>\n

\n“For Earth Day \u2013 a global reminder of the importance of environmental and climate protection \u2013 we are pleased to be working with climAD. Our message will be shown on these innovative displays at more than 20 locations throughout Germany until April 22.”<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

With this campaign, KoRo impressively demonstrated how modern brands can take responsibility and at the same time convey a clear, sustainable message \u2013 without greenwashing, but with real impact.<\/p>\n<\/div>
