At the end of June 2025, it was that time again: The Long Night of Business Dahme-Spreewald (Lange Nacht der Wirtschaft Dahme-Spreewald ) opened the doors to 19 companies and research institutions – and we at Green City Solutions were right in the thick of it! Together with CTM Fahrzeugbau GmbH, we welcomed numerous visitors in Bestensee and offered them exclusive insights into the world of moss as a biofilter and our sustainable innovations for greener cities.

Innovation, Moss & Collaboration at Green City Solutions

We are truly overwhelmed by the response: More than 450 visitors learned about the impact of moss for clean air, the entire value chain from moss mat to finished product, and the use of 3D printing, digitalization, and AI in our production.

We were especially pleased to welcome the official press tour with numerous politicians, including Brandenburg’s Minister of Economic Affairs Daniel Keller, District Administrator Sven Herzberger, Wildau’s Mayor Frank Nerlich, WFG Managing Director Marion Schirmer and SPD district councilor Thomas Irmer.

After the event, he wrote on Instagram: „We were on the move! Get on board, be amazed, experience!

Last night, we – and many curious guests – traveled across the Dahme-Spreewald district for the Long Night of Business 2025! […] Together, we visited 19 companies and research institutions – with open doors, hands-on activities, and exciting insights into the region’s working world.“

Thanks to the prominent guests, we were not only able to present our solutions, but also provide important impulses for the future of urban quality of life, and hand over a position paper on the “Amendment of the Legal Framework for Impact and Compensation Regulations.” It was a reunion with the Brandenburg Minister of Economic Affairs – after our CEO Peter Sänger had already met him at the East German Economic Forum (Ostdeutschen Wirtschaftsforum) due to winning the Vorsprung Business Award.

„We are overwhelmed by more than 450 visitors and the great interest in Green City Solutions. The many inspiring conversations and the positive feedback will remain in our best memories for a long time“, said our Managing Director Peter Sänger after the event.

„The press tour with many politicians, including the Brandenburg Minister of Economic Affairs, who stopped by our site, gave the Long Night of Business a special touch. It gave us the opportunity to contribute numerous technical topics and receive valuable input. We are excited to see what developments and collaborations will result from this and would like to thank everyone involved for making this event such a success”, added the CEO and co-founder of Green City Solutions.
