“With ‘Urban Re:set – Spaces for Tomorrow’, the Dresdner Philharmonie is transforming a hot, heavily sealed square into a place where people are happy to spend time even in summer, im Sommer gerne bleiben”, reads the competition page.
The Dresdner Philharmonie sees the joint project as one that connect “culture, climate and urban design” and “turns the Kulturpalast forecourt into a place where the future can be put into practice. At the same time, it creates a space that invites people to pause – offering a moment of personal ‘reset’ in the midst of everyday life”..
