A healthier future in the cities

Our vision is a world in which people in cities can live healthy lives. We want to create living conditions that enable everyone worldwide to breathe cleaner air over the long term.

The Founder Story

Both personal and individual experiences with air pollution and heat during travels around the world, as well as focuses on urbanization, environmental pollution, and innovation in professions and education, brought together the later founders in Dresden. (Liang is from Shanghai and experienced the negative impact of polluted air firsthand there: His health deteriorated significantly and only improved upon his return to Germany. Peter also encountered the consequences of smog on the quality of life in cities during his travels.) From numerous conversations and thoughts, initial prototypes were built, and a business plan was developed, bringing in a founder’s scholarship. This laid the foundation for Green City Solutions. With a young team of experts in the fields of horticulture/biology, computer science, architecture, and mechanical engineering, Green City Solutions finally launched in the spring of 2014.
