On June 25, 2025, the SportPark at Luftschiffhafen in Potsdam was transformed into a unique networking platform for decision-makers, entrepreneurs, visionaries, and creative minds from all over Brandenburg. Green City Solutions was right in the middle of the Brandenburger Sommerabend with the CityBreeze and a dedicated team led by the founders Peter Sänger and Zhengliang Wu – bringing fresh air, innovative environmental technology, and new impulses for sustainable urban development.

“A Rhythm of Inspiration, Vision and Will”

Under the motto “A Rhythm of Inspiration, Vision and Will”, the Brandenburg State Government, together with WirtschaftsForum Brandenburg e.V., invited guests to the traditional Brandenburger Sommerabend. After a one-year break, more than 3,000 guests from politics, business, science, culture, and society came together to exchange ideas, network, and jointly shape the future of Brandenburg – a record, as reported by Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung.

Minister President Dr. Dietmar Woidke emphasized in his welcome address:

“Thank you all for being here! That is what makes this event so special: the people who come together here […]”, who, like the „Brandenburg companies, are outstanding ambassadors for the region“. (Meeting Point Potsdam)

He predicted that Brandenburg’s economy would continue to move forward “despite crises and conflicts.”.

Innovation Meets Nature: The CityBreeze as a “Landmark”

“In addition to the major partners, many medium-sized companies also support the Brandenburger Sommerabend. […] At the Landmarks, interested guests were introduced to Bindfadenhaus, Holland-Park, Green City Solutions GmbH, Miete24 PAY GmbH, Lifelike Prothetics GmbH, as well as Biermanufaktur Kessel und Kelle and the ‘Biosavety’ project.”

As one of the selected companies, Green City Solutions presented the CityBreeze – an innovative combination of a living moss wall and a digital screen. This allowed visitors to experience live how our bio-technological solutions filter pollutants from the ambient air, cool the air, and thus noticeably improve the urban climate – tangible, visible, and sustainable. At the same time, the large-format screen provided inspiring digital content and was a real eye-catcher at the venue.

Fresh breeze, fresh impulses, fresh air: Visitors could experience the unique combination of a living moss wall and a large-format screen live, which not only filters pollutants from the ambient air but also provides a noticeably fresh breeze and inspiring digital content.

For Green City Solutions, it was a particular pleasure to engage in conversations with representatives from all sectors, gain new impulses, and jointly develop ideas for greener, more livable cities.

We were especially pleased to reconnect with Brandenburg’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Daniel Keller, whom our CEO Peter Sänger met again after winning the Vorsprung Business Award (Wirtschaftspreis Vorsprung) at the East German Economic Forum (Ostdeutschen Wirtschaftsforum) and, most recently, at the Long Night of the Economy LDS.

In the spirit of BB25:

Ganz im Sinne des BB25: “Here, conversations, connections, and relationships are created in a relaxed environment that last for a long time.”

An Evening Full of Highlights and Inspiration

“Whether networking over a glass of wine, strolling through the beautiful surroundings, or sharing laughter during live music” – the Brandenburger Sommerabend 2025 once again demonstrated how strongly Brandenburg is connected and how much innovative power the region holds.

Alongside Green City Solutions, numerous other companies and projects showcased the potential and diversity of Brandenburg’s economy.

The Brandenburger Sommerabend 2025 was a complete success for Green City Solutions: We were able to present our vision of sustainable urban development and better air quality to a broad audience, make valuable contacts, and have many inspiring conversations.

We would like to thank the organizers, all partners, and guests for an unforgettable evening and look forward to making the cities of tomorrow greener, healthier, and more livable together.
