The “Fresh Air Button” on the CityBreeze at Forum Köpenick
climAD and the “Fresh Air Button” on the CityBreeze make it possible: fresh air at the push of a button. Before the introduction of the intelligent moss filters, the motto was: “Touching is explicitly allowed!”
At Forum Köpenick, managed by Jagdfeld Real Estate, the slogan is “Take a deep breath and relax”, as since May, four CityBreeze units have been enhancing the local air quality and visitor experience. While the large screens broadcast climAD ‘s digital content, the integrated moss filters on the back purify and cool the surrounding air.
To playfully explain the synergy between technology and nature to the visitors of this popular and bustling Berlin shopping center, a temporary “Fresh Air Button” was installed. Many curious visitors activated a burst of fresh air at the push of a button and experienced its sensory effect.
Although the Fresh Air Button was a temporary installation, the clean and cool air, as well as the CityBreeze units, can still be experienced live. Stop by and see for yourself!
