Green City Solutions Among the Top 25
– AND the Top 5!
“Great news” and a “truly […] impressive achievement” (Gründerszene Awards): Out of more than 150 applications, Green City Solutions has made it to the final round of the Gründerszene Impact Awards! We are extremely proud of this recognition, as it places us not only among the overall Top 25 of the Gründerszene Awards 2024 but also among the Top 5 in the “Climate Tech” category. This category celebrates innovative solutions driving sustainability forward.
The Awards 2024
This year’s awards are entirely focused on impact. The spotlight is on companies that deliver tangible results through social commitment or environmental and climate protection. As part of the “Impact Edition”, the following questions take center stage:
- Which companies in their respective industries have contributed to making the world a better place?
- Who is clearly fighting for the greater good with their products and services?
- Who has truly made an impact?
We are especially honored to be nominated alongside other inspiring companies such as alcemy, Atlas Metrics, Greenlyte Carbon Technologies and tozero in our category. Congratulations to all finalists and nominees – including those in the other four categories being recognized: „Consumer Goods & Commerce“, „Health Tech“, „Deep Tech & KI“ and „Newcomer of the Year“.
The Jury and the Award Ceremony
“Hard work, determination, perseverance – honestly, every one of you deserves a major award.” However, since Gründerszene “can’t honor each and every one of you individually, [they will] present the Gründerszene Awards 2024 to five startups as representatives.”
The esteemed jury tasked with deciding which companies “delivered real impact in 2024” includes:

- Tina Dreimann, Business Angel
- Alex von Frankenberg, Managing Director at HTGF
- Daniel Krauss, Founder of Flix
- Alex Hofmann, Editor-in-Chief at Gründerszene
The final awards will be presented on December 3rd “as part of a celebratory dinner […] at the Journalists’ Club on the 19th floor of the Axel Springer building”. Plus: “In addition to the award, the winners can look forward to some exciting prizes”.
