From Köpenick to the World Expo: CityBreeze Featured on Tagesthemen

When the German news program tagesthemen reports on “pure nature in the heart of Köpenick’s shopping center”, they are, of course, referring to our CityBreeze at Forum Köpenick — featured from minute 27:35!

In a recent segment on ARD’s tagesthemen and rbb’s Abendschau covering the EXPO 2035 initiative in Berlin, our CityBreeze was highlighted as an example of innovative and sustainable urban development.

The vision: to transform Berlin into a decentralized, green World Expo — driven by the association Global Goals for Berlin e.V. and supported by dedicated leaders such as former Chamber of Commerce President Daniel-Jan Girl. At the heart of this initiative is the ambition to bring the United Nations’ 17 Global Goals to life across the city, making them tangible through innovative projects like our multifunctional moss modules at Forum Köpenick.

In the German TV feature, rbb reporter Griet von Petersdorff demonstrated how our energy-efficient, innovative, and cooling solutions are improving air quality right in the middle of a shopping center—and how such technologies could play a key role in a sustainable EXPO. As highlighted from minute 27:35 in tagesthemen: Nature and innovation go hand in hand when shaping the future of urban living. Being recognized as a flagship project underscores the relevance and potential of our work.

We are delighted that our vision for greener, more livable cities is being recognized and discussed in this context!

EXPO 2035 is a unique opportunity to position Berlin as a pioneer in urban sustainability — and our moss filters are ready to make their contribution.
