With the CityBreeze and Vision Seven for Noticeably Better Urban Air
2025 marked a record-breaking KOMMUNALE – and the CityBreeze demonstrated how profoundly change in our cities is already underway, and how climate adaptation in urban areas can already be put into practice today.
For two days, the focus was entirely on the future: digitalisation, climate adaptation, sustainable infrastructure – and the question of how cities can become more resilient and more liveable.
At the centre of it all: Green City Solutions, in partnership with Vision Seven by Justins Design.
Together we demonstrated how, wie sich technology, nature and design can be combined to create measurable change in urban environments.
Urban Spaces for Recreation
With the CityBreeze, we presented an innovation that is both visibly green and measurably effective. At the Vision Seven stand, visitors experienced it – and much more – up close. The moss‑based biotechnology demonstrably improves air quality, cools the surrounding area and enhances the quality of stay in public urban areas.
Where concrete dominates, the CityBreeze provides a fresh breeze and a noticeably improved microclimate – a tangible and immediate form of climate adaptation in the urban environment.
In combination with Vision Seven’s integrated drinking‑water systems, an inspiring overall picture emerged, showing how urban furniture, sustainability and smart city design can complement one another in meaningful ways – in line with Adina Schneider’s belief that „Healthy cities begin where people feel comfortable.“
Exchange, Inspiration and Future Visions
Our CEO Peter Sänger engaged in numerous conversations with representatives of municipalities, city administrations and planning offices.
The feedback was unanimous: local authorities are looking for practical, scalable solutions that deliver immediate results – or heat adaptation, air purification and more liveable public spaces. That is exactly where Green City Solutions comes in – with green technology, measurable data and a clear mission: to sustainably improve the urban climate and make cities more resilient and healthier places to live.
The climate economics institute ttz Bremerhaven (Klimaökonomie ttz Bremerhaven) also underlined this point: „Climate adaptation only works through collaboration“.

The collaboration with Vision Seven clearly demonstrated that true innovation occurs where design meets nature and technology empowers it – an idea also echoed in the official KOMMUNALE recap and video. (Catch a breath of CityBreeze freshness at second 18 of the video!)
Impulses for Urban Transformation
KOMMUNALE 2025 was more than just a trade fair – it was a place of exchange, innovation, and cooperation, and a strong statement of our collective readiness to make cities climate‑resilient and more human‑centred.
We are grateful to all visitors for their keen interest and inspiring conversations, and especially to Vision Seven and Adina Schneider for shaping a joint exhibition that demonstrated how the green future is already becoming tangible today.
A special thanks also goes to the KOMMUNALE team, whose expert dialogue, record attendance and inspiring atmosphere created the ideal framework for these successful days.
Climate Adaptation Is Now
The next KOMMUNALE will take place in October 2027, yet urban greening is no longer a topic of the future – it is the reality of today.
Solutions like the CityBreeze prove that cities can already use nature‑based technology and data‑driven impact measurement to lower temperatures, improve air quality, and create more attractive public spaces.
Green City Solutions develops products and concepts that bring nature back into the city, thereby measurably enhancing health, comfort, and sustainability in urban life.
We look forward to KOMMUNALE 2027 – and to many more partnerships and projects that continue shaping the green, liveable cities of the future.
