Together for a Sustainable Future: On April 22, 2025, Earth Day was celebrated – a day that reminds us of the importance of taking responsibility for our planet. Green City Solutions and climAD used this special occasion to collaboratively disseminate sustainable messages in innovative ways with partners such as LichtBlick SE and KoRo . With bio-digital advertising spaces that combine technology and climate responsibility, Earth Day 2025 became an impressive example of sustainable communication.

Sustainable Messages on Bio-Digital Advertising Spaces
Our CityBreeze – a unique combination of a moss wall and a large-format screen – offered the perfect platform for impactful campaigns in conjunction with climAD . These bio-digital advertising spaces combine media visibility with genuine climate responsibility. They demonstrate how Digital Out of Home (DOOH) can be used as a sustainable communication channel to bring climate and environmental issues directly into people’s everyday lives.
As LichtBlick SE announced, “Digital Out of Home (DOOH) is one of the most environmentally friendly advertising media in the marketing mix. On the occasion of Earth Day, we are going one step further together with climAD.”
LichtBlick SE: Bag Something for the Climate While Shopping?
The LichtBlick campaign was themed “Bag something for the climate after shopping” and impressively demonstrated how DOOH not only creates attention but also actively contributes to improving air quality.

KoRo: There is Only One Earth …
Another highlight of Earth Day 2025 was the collaboration with KoRo. The company brought its message “There is only one Earth with KoRo snacks – protect it!” to the innovative DOOH displays of climAD. These displays, equipped with integrated moss filters, actively purify the air and thus contribute not only to the visibility of the message but also to improving air quality.
