Visitor Record in Berlin-Köpenick
Forum Köpenick celebrated a very special anniversary: the 50. Children’s Flea Market attracted numerous families, treasure hunters, and little explorers to the Berlin shopping center. Amidst colorful toy cars, children’s books, and clothing, there were additional highlights that captured everyone’s attention. Right in the heart of it: the moss within our four installed CityBreeze units.
Visitor Record with a Feel-Good Factor
The turnout was massive; as Forum Köpenick shared on Instagram, the flea market offered everything one could wish for – all with free admission and for a good cause.
We were also particularly pleased with the feedback from the organizers on-site. Orlando Mittmann, Senior SEO of IG Forum Köpenick, shared an impressive summary of the day:
“The 50th Children’s Flea Market Berlin at Forum Köpenick was once again a great success. The high number of visitors and the consistently positive atmosphere clearly demonstrated how popular this event is with families from Köpenick and the entire region.
It was particularly encouraging to see how attentively visitors engaged with our moss installation – many parents even lifted their children up so they could consciously experience the fresh, filtered air. Moments like these show how seamlessly sustainable ideas can be integrated into a vibrant family event.“

Relax and Breathe Deeply
It is wonderful to see that the moss filters and coolers were perceived as a haven of tranquility and a source of freshness. After all, the four CityBreeze at Forum Köpenick are far more than just decorative elements. In an environment like Forum Köpenick, they allow visitors to relax and breathe deeply, even amidst the hustle and bustle. The moss filters fine dust from the air and cools the surroundings through evapotranspiration – a tangible added value for the quality of stay.
The fact that this concept is convincing is also shown by the attention it receives beyond the center’s borders. As part of the Global Goals Berlin “EXPO 2025 Berlin” campaign, the installations were featured in an ARD tagesthemen report regarding potential Berlin pavilions.
A Look Behind the Scenes (and Greens)
For those who would like to learn more about our bio-digital air filters and coolers and how they are utilized at Forum Köpenick, we recommend the report by rbb. The camera team filmed both at our moss farm and on-site at the Forum to show these “little big heroes” in action:
We are delighted that our CityBreeze units were part of the 50th Children’s Flea Market and that the event was such a great success. We look forward to many more “fresh” events in Köpenick!
