Mosses have the natural ability to bind and metabolize fine dust and are therefore optimal for local air quality improvement. We are developing highly effective regenerative air filters and have found a way to cultivate mosses vertically in a short time. In 2022, scaling up is coming, bringing as many actively aerated moss square meters as possible to European cities.
2.4 million euros in fresh capital
Investment bank of the state of Brandenburg (780,000 euros) and Lex Hartmann, former CEO of TenneT Germany TSO (100,000 euros) have already been secured as investors in 2021. Now we are raising 1.5 million euros in fresh capital. This will be used to create new moss filters for indoor and outdoor use from 2022, further develop the bio-algorithm and establish the “Clean-Air-as-a-Service” business model. Partner of the financing round is Companisto – an investment platform for startups and growth companies. Via Companisto, business angels and investors with venture capital jointly participate in outstanding innovations and promising companies. After successful completion of the first investment round (Angel Club phase from December 8, 2021), funding has been open to all registered Companisto users since December 15 and an investment is possible from as little as 250 euros.
