“Marketplace of Green Change”

On May 6, 2025, Green City Solutions proudly participated in the second Social Entrepreneurship Day, held in the picturesque setting of the Heimvolkshochschule at Seddiner See. Our co-founder and CIO, Liang Wu, presented our vision and solutions for a more sustainable future – and took the opportunity to connect with other inspiring social entrepreneurs.

Sustainability in Focus

For us, sustainability means creating solutions today that will improve all of our lives tomorrow – for a healthier, greener and more livable future.

Green City Solutions is committed to developing innovative and natural solutions to enhance the quality of life in urban spaces. Our moss technology combines the natural air-filtering and cooling properties of moss with intelligent technology, achieving the air-filtering and cooling effect of 81 trees on just 9 m² of space.

A Day Full of Inspiration and Exchange

The Social Entrepreneurship Day provided a platform for sustainability, innovation and networking. In addition to exciting keynotes and workshops, we had the opportunity to present our solutions at the “Marketplace of Green Change” and exchange ideas with other social enterprises such as VERN e.V., SoLaWi BAUERei Grube, Netzwerk Zukunftsorte, FAIRverpackt Potsdam, Initiative22, Inselwerke eG, Förderverein des Neue Energien Forum Feldheim e.V., PlantAge eG, Biosphäre Potsdam ProPotsdam Naturerlebnis GmbH, Fairkostbar, Profaris Mensch und Tier gUG and tinyFarm gUG.

Liang Wu summarized the day as follows:
“The exchange with visitors and participants was once again enriching. It shows how much momentum there is in the field of social entrepreneurship: discussions ranged from implementable ideas in Potsdam to Shanghai – all in the tranquil setting of Seddiner See.” He added: “A big thank you to the organizers, all contributors and participants!”

Working Together for a Better Future

The Social Entrepreneurship Day once again demonstrated how important it is to work together for a more sustainable future.

The Kompetenzzentrum für Soziales Unternehmertum in Brandenburg shared their reflections on LinkedIn after the event:

“We are still enchanted ✨ by the wonderful atmosphere and the open, engaged interactions on-site!
With perfect weather ☀️ and a view of Seddiner See, it was a fantastic opportunity to network – both outdoors and indoors at the Heimvolkshochschule.”
